Spoke Art Summer Group Show

Have been busy lately working on pieces for the upcoming group exhibition at Spoke Art gallery in San Francisco, in August, which will be featuring 9 emerging artists. Was such a joy being a part of the Wes Anderson Tribute show with Spoke Art last year, I was thrilled to be invited back!
The exhibition opens on 2nd August 6- 10 pm
and runs till the 25th August 2012.

The artists line up includes: Siau-Fong Wee, Rich Pellegrino, Michael Ramstead, Eddie Colla, Nicole Gustafsson, Steve Seeley, Allan Innman and Megan Wolfe.
Basic skin tone laid down for a little painting. Went alla prima this time, as apposed to greyscale underpainting like on my contemplation painting. I guess, as I’m self taught, I’m always trying new techniques! This one is with oils.
Basic hair colour painted in.
Refining the hair and working on the fiddly hair line!
